Why Van Security Matters

Protecting Your Van, Tools & Business

As van and tool theft continue to rise across the UK, trades people are facing challenges that can have a significant impact on their business, finances and more.

Recent UK reports show that:

A van is stolen every 55 minutes across the UK.
Around 3 in 5 stolen vans are never recovered.
28% of UK van drivers reported tool theft in the last year alone.
The average value of stolen tools now exceeds £2,400 per theft.

At SX Van Locks, we know that your van is more than just transport – it is your livelihood. That’s why investing in high-quality van security is essential for protecting your van, tools and business.

Our Services

Advanced Van Security Locking Systems

Ford Rep Locks

Designed to protect various models, such as the Ford Transit and Transit Custom vans, our Ford rep locks replace the standard driver’s door lock with a solid stainless-steel cylinder that’s built to resist picking, drilling, and “grip and spin” attacks.

Hook locks

Our hook locks are robust aftermarket security solutions designed to give your van high-performance protection against forced entry. It uses a hook-style locking bolt that prevents the doors from being prised apart.

Dead locks

Made from hardened steel and supplied with high-security keys, deadlocks are a strong, high-security option for cab doors or areas where hook locks cannot be installed, offering a reliable way to protect your van’s contents.

Slamlocks

Slamlocks are ideal for couriers, delivery drivers, trades people and other vehicle users who are constantly in and out of their vehicles. They are designed to automatically engage when the door is closed, ensuring that your van is always protected.

Statement Locks

Statement locks are a reliable security upgrade which reliably protects your doors and acts as an effective deterrent to criminal activity. Its reinforced design acts as a strong physical barrier and a visible deterrent, making it obvious your vehicle is well protected.

External Shielding

For a heavy-duty upgrade, our external shielding plates are designed to protect your van’s factory doors from forced entry. Manufactured from hardened steel, they provide a strong barrier against the specific drilling attacks commonly used by thieves.

Internal Shielding

Internal shielding is a smart way of strengthening your van’s latch mechanism from inside the door, providing extra protection against methods used to gain access. By reinforcing the latch area, it makes it significantly harder for thieves to manipulate or bypass the lock.

Loom Guards

Loom guards protect your van’s most vulnerable areas from being cut or punctured, which could allow thieves to access your vehicle’s wiring loom and disable the central locking system.

Anti Peel Kits

Anti-Peel Kits automatically engage when the door is closed, strengthening door edges and distributing force more evenly to resist attacks. Its robust bracket and keep are made from high-strength stainless steel and designed to make the side loading door harder to peel.

What a guy Ben is , I changed the times literally 48hr before and he came earlier and got all my locks , anti peel brackets and latch plate, done all in time for me to go to work what a legend. They look really well done and work perfectly. Would definitely get him to do more work and recommend Ben to others who need security locks . Thanks you Ben .

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently had aftermarket locks fitted to my new van by SX Van Locks and couldn’t be happier with the service. Ben was very professional, and his attention to detail really stood out. Having work done on a brand-new van, it was reassuring to see the care he took with the installation.

I’d happily recommend Ben and SX Van Locks to anyone looking for extra security for their van. Thanks again,

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Run a fleet of vans and always had security upgrades, but not like Bens work, precise, professional and clean finish, takes pride in his work. Also got the job done for me asap (24hr turn around) as he knew I was in a major rush, stayed late to ensure all was perfect and complete. Wouldn’t be going anywhere else for my van security from now on and recommend that you don’t either! Great to deal with and unreal workmanship
